Yesterday I went on a little drive with my family, and we visited the area in which my dad grew up, Upper Styria. Needless to say it was absolutely stunning up there. The minute the sun set all the trees and meadows were dipped in golden light and it was just the most breathtaking sight I had ever seen.

The girl in this picture is my beautiful friend Anna. I took this when we were in Sirmione, at Lake Garda, Italy. The town is incredibly picturesque and pretty (but very crowded).
It was in the middle of September and the weather was simply incredible - sunshine and more than 20° Celsius, a lovely change to the usual rainy autumn weather. If you need a quick getaway in early autumn I can really recommend this area. So beautiful.

A lovely spot I found in Vienna, it’s called “Zuckerbäckerstiege” (obviously, duh) which translates to “confectioner’s stairs”, I kind of love the sound of that.
Vienna is a really beautiful city, full of historical buildings and stories round every corner (a place I want to go next time is the street in which the characters of “Geschichten aus dem Wienerwald” have their stores, the story is iconic).
Also, there are a lot of cool shops and markets, and if you’re really into food (like me, haha) you will LOVE vienna, especially the Naschmarkt. Food everywhere. Heaven.

This photo is one of my favorite photos of all time and was actually taken by my best friend Ricarda.
In 2012 we went to Ireland on a school trip and I still can honestly say, it was one of the best times of my life (so far).
This little restaurant can be found in Adare, County Limerick. I didn’t really get to see too much of the town as we only stopped for a few minutes, but on the main street there were a lot of thatched houses that looked very pretty (and photogenic, as you can see in my second post). This place looked so lovely, I hope one day I will actually be able to see the restaurant from the inside, too.

This picture was taken in Slovenia, the town of Kranjska Gora. My mother and I went there for the day to meet her pen pal after not seeing her for over 20 years! It was a very happy reunion, also the fact that we went to a little cafe to get cake & hot chocolate made me even happier (though I must say… having chocolate cake AND drinking hot chocolate is maybe not the BEST idea ever…). Everyone was in a great mood though the weather was very unpleasant - pouring rain most of the afternoon.
Kranjska Gora is a little town close to the Austrian border, close to the mountains and the area is just so stunningly beautiful. Just before saying goodbye we also saw the most beautiful rainbow ever. A good sign, eh?

Hello everyone,

as you might have noticed, a few months ago I deleted most of my photos up here, but I have decided to upload them and to start blogging again, I quite miss it! Also, I decided to add a short story about picture (if there is a story worth telling) to make it all bit more interesting.

Thank you for not unfollowing me even though I wasn’t active at all the past few months! You are the best.

PS: If you have any questions at all, feel free ask me! I want to make this blog a lot more personal.

So here we go again! I’m back from my trip to Ireland! It was simply amazing, so much fun, beautiful, though exhausting. I met some lovely people there and saw some really great places. But I’m happy to be back home. Here in Austria autumn is slowly coming, and today I’m just laying in the bed bein sick (let’s just say that sometimes you shouldn’t sit on the same sofa with a cat if you’re allergic), drinkin tea, stalkin autumn pics on weheartit and listening to good music. (Including Sea Wolf, Florence+ The Machine, The Fray, The Doors and The Kooks) So here some pictures of Autumn- From last year, Ireland this year and everything in between.
